Völklingen is a framework for better client-cloud colocation on accelerators with tightly-coupled resources. Specialized accelerator applications rely on structured overlap schedules to maximize accelerator utilization, however they require exclusive accelerator access to preserve the compile-time assumptions. This project capitalizes on slack in tenant-defined schedules to cooperatively adapt schedules at runtime, supporting colocation with minimal interference.
